Malta National Aquarium in St Paul’s Bay: walk-through tunnel, 51 tanks, 250+ species, and conservation-focused displays inside a starfish-shaped shell.

“It’s brilliant ! The aquarium is underground with lots to see, there’s also a small ride that ‘takes’ you in a crashing submarine to the bottom of the ocean. Then upstairs is an amazing restaurant, a crazy cute gift shop and above that is a local Malta history floor with artefacts found from the sea.”

From Sliema or Bugibba: Two Islands Ferry to Comino and Gozo - The 7-hour catamaran schedule: how to think about your “island time”

10.From Sliema or Bugibba: Two Islands Ferry to Comino and Gozo

★★★★★★★★★★3.8 · 38 reviews · 7 hours · from $42

Hop-on ferry from Sliema or Bugibba to Comino and Gozo in one 7-hour day, with hotel transfers and Blue Lagoon swim time.

“As advertised, took us from Sliema to Gozo first, where we could decide to get off or stay and go immediately to Comino Blue Lagoon. We got off at the Mgarr port and 3 hours later the ship picked us up and took us to the blue lagoon where we could spend another 3 hours. You have to make your own adventure on Gozo after getting off the ship. There were bus services guys jumping at us to buy their services right as we got off. I can't recommend the hop on hop off bus tour around Gozo if you want to go to the Blue Lagoon later.”
