“We took the North tour which was excellent. We only got off at Mosta and Mdina (both very worthwhile) but there was probably time to do another couple of stops. The buses only come once an hour which gave us enough time to see the main attractions at each stop. Commentary is available in many languages and gives some good information about each of the stops and surrounding area. Good value for money, would recommend.”

“I have used this same company all around the world and found them excellent. The Gozo experience proved no different. I had purchased our tickets before leaving home and so had a voucher on my mobile phone. This had proved to be a major problem on Malta, but the drivers on Gozo had no such problems. The buses were on time all day long and the commentary was good. Excellent way to see Gozo.”

“A different and fun way to travel to Mdina from Valhetta. The buses are very well looked after. No seatbelts though! We enjoyed the journey and it was very reasonably priced.”

“Public transit travel on Malta is notoriously slow, so the HOHO buses are a great way to see a lot in a relatively more efficient manner. However, the audio doesn't always work, and goes silent for long stretches of time. I recall there were at least 5-6 stops where there was no commentary at all. The buses were also incredibly packed, even in late April; would have been nice to have more frequent buses. That said, I still thought it was worth it, and still better than taking the local public buses, which are quite unreliable.”

“We spent a splendid day at Gozo with the Gozo hop on hop off tour bus. You get to choose yourself where you want to get off and the buses are very punctual. I would definitely choose this travel method again.”

“Likes: quick catamaran trip getting there. Could be improved: - allowing the passengers to choose return time, we were automatically booked for 8.45 pm return and although we queued for an earlier return the availability was not there, even of we had a booking we queued with the people that did not have any tickets. The queue was awful, the organization was not there, there were fights between other passengers… please book your own boat trip - the hop on hop off was not great. It is limited in hours so if you want to return to some attractions there are limited times you can get back to it. There…”

“I really enjoyed seeing areas around Malta, but getting to the bus was very confusing. I asked three different people and got three different answers. I think the bus routes should be shorter and more focused on areas that people want to see.”

“Easy to get on and off. Staff very friendly. Only downside was the bus stops were not as regular as other sightseeing buses in other cities & countries. They also stopped rather early in the afternoon. The boat cruise of Valetta was exceptional.”
